Where Every Pint Tells a Story
With roots reaching back from 600AD, originally Gaelic Mac Caochlaoich from the area of and around Cork, Ireland... coming to America in 1920, my grandfather William Robert Coakley (changed from the original spelling and pronunciation) came to New York to work and study as an electrician, finding a job with ESSO (Standard Oil) and joined their Caribbean team touring Venezuela, Aruba, among other nations. Retiring in Florida, he passed away in 1982. His son Deon and my mother, Noel were very proud of their Irish heritage, and I carry that forward with me today.
